Hi, my name is Gulliver! I got this name for a reason – I spent an entire year wandering alone, and no one could catch me. I was afraid of people and didn’t trust anyone. I just drifted from place to place until one day I completely broke down. I had no strength left… so I gave up.

During my first days at the shelter, I didn’t want anything. I just ate, slept in my kennel, and quietly watched everything with one eye. But things started to change when kind people took me to the vet and treated the wounds on my legs. Later, they moved me indoors, and that’s when I realized for the first time in a long while – maybe I can trust humans again.

Now I’m a different dog. I’m friendly, I get along well with other dogs, and I know how to give a paw and sit (but not for free, I require treats). What I love most is being close to people. Being near someone makes me feel safe and happy. When I’m left alone and can’t see a person, I get sad and try to call them back – I just want to be together.

I’m the kind of dog who gets along with everyone. And when I say everyone, I truly mean everyone – from shy little kittens to people that even other dogs avoid. I’m like that warm, kind aunt at a family gathering – I’ll hug everyone, say something nice, and probably offer you a plate of food too.

Sometimes my friendliness can be a bit… intense – wherever you go, I follow. But that’s only because my heart is full of love. I may not be young anymore, but inside I’m still a gentle, affectionate soul with a childlike warmth.
