Murkis
Murkis – or ‘the one who purrs’ – is a shy boy who is slowing coming out of his shell. Despite being shy at first, with love and patience this gentle big boy will reward you with unlimited purrs.
He was brought to the shelter with quite poor condition suffering from cat flu. After a long treatment and multiple visits to various vet specialists Murkis is finally feeling better now. Unfortunately, his light cold symptoms like sneezes and runny nose will always exist but other than that he is generally healthy.
Murkis is also tested positive with Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), which is a viral infection among cats. Despite the name might sound scary, cats with FeLV can still live a long and content life with more love and patience from the owner. A stress-free environment and healthy diet will support his health in long term, which is why we really hope to find Murkis a loving home where he doesn’t need to compete for attention with other cats.
If you have the space in your home and in your heart for this lovely chubby purrer please consult with our coordinators for caring advice of FeLV+ cats. We along with the shelter will be more than happy to share more info with you.
The adoption fee for Murkis is €280,-
