About Pinkis, an ordinarily extraordinary kitty 🐈‍⬛.

Ordinary-extraordinary—because he “caught” himself by wandering into the shelter while they were running a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program. His health was checked and, of course, he had a terrible runny nose and even a cough. He was treated, cured, and neutered, but when the time came to release him, everyone got very worried—where should they release him? Back into the unknown?

He had revealed himself in all his beauty: gentle, affectionate, curious about everything, constantly seeking and wanting attention. He is so young, barely two years old, yet he has already experienced betrayal. It was completely obvious that he used to be a house cat. Once he grew up and “manly” instincts kicked in, his previous owners clearly found it easier to just “release him into the wide world” rather than safely get him fixed and enjoy life together (well, that’s just a guess, we’ll never know the real truth, and Pinkis doesn’t even want to think about it, let alone talk about it).

We really want to find a warm home for Pinkis where he will be truly cared for. Because a little cough still “pops up” from time to time, though it has no consequences and requires no treatment—it’s simply a “relic of a bad life” that we just have to accept. Perhaps over a longer period of time, living a peaceful, well-fed life surrounded by people who love him, even this “relic” will disappear…

That is why we are so hoping to find an understanding and loving home 🏠💕for Pinkis—and he will repay you with his affection, purring, and kindness 💝.

The adoption fee for Pinkis is €330,-
