Ciupkis, 7 year old resident of the shelter. He stayed at the shelter for almost 2 years. We believe there’s hope he won’t spend the rest of his life here 🙏🏻
Ciupkis is a textbook perfect cat – beautiful tabby coat, green eyes, enjoys lounging in the sun and looooves cuddling up next to his human. Would you like to be that person? 🥰
Ciupkis is in a good health, but tests shown he’s FIV positive, so he can either be only pet or live with other FIV positive kitty. Also, he has to be on special urinary diet. That’s it! Not that much to ask for unconditional love and unlimited cuddles 😍
More info about FIV+: Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), which is a common and infectious virus among cats. Despite the name might sound scary FIV+ kitties can still live a long life without symptoms with the right cares and attention. Among all tactics, stress-free environment and nutritious diet are the key. We therefore hope Ciupkis can have his very own home without the stress he might receive from other cats or changing of foster friends.
FIV is mostly transmitted via aggressive bites or fights between cats which in this sense, Ciupkis can still share a household with non-infected cats as long as they are friendly and non-dominant. But we would still suggest him to either be the only cat in the household or with other FIV+ cats to be very sure. He also needs to be a 100% indoor cat.
