Lokiukas was found by a kind-hearted woman who did not pass by when she saw a sick cat. He didn’t want to be saved, but this didn’t stop her! We are very thankful for that! ❤

Lokiukas is very cozy and affectionate to humans, so shelter volunteers concluded that he was a former pet… Due to life on the streets, his whole body was scarred, his ears were bitten, and he was sick. Pet cats get in a bad conditional quickly if left homeless.

Veterinarians did some tests and Lokiukas is FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) positive. This isn’t surprising because homeless and unneutered cats fight over territory and thus transmit viruses to each other.

Now Lokiukas feels better. His FIV will never go away, but he has healed from street life. He is a handsome and a affectionate cat who has seen and experienced a lot in his short life.

Lokiukas has already demonstrated his special mind, ingenuity and stubbornness to the shelter volunteers😼. This wise guy has escaped from his cage four times so far! And when caught and locked up again, he looks out of the cage dissatisfied, with pitiful eyes, sad and not understanding why he can’t move freely and make friends with everyone! But because of his FIV+ diagnosis, he must be separated from the other cats.

However, despite his diagnosis, he is incredibly charming, intelligent, full of energy and ready to captivate the hearts of his future owners😻.

Lokiukas is a part of a bonded trio together with Haskis and Bajoras. Unfortunately they all have FIV😔. They can be adopted separately (in which case these handsome boys would have to be the only cats in the house), or live together with another FIV cat). If someone could take all three, it would be a miracle!✨✨✨
