Markiz
Markiz is not even two years old, and he already ended up on the street. 😢 Why? Because his owners didn’t want him anymore. They didn’t care how their little house cat, who grew up indoors – had a place, warmth, and a full belly, would feel abandoned outside. 💔
There’s still a common thought that “cats can survive on their own.”
Yes, maybe they can – if they were born and raised on the streets.
But a cat raised indoors often lacks wild instincts:
• cannot hunt for food, because they never needed to;
• is not resistant to diseases;
• has no experience defending itself or fighting for territory.
Cars, people, other animals, cold, hunger, etc. – there are so many dangers for house cats in the streets. This is no life for a pet.. Pets are meant to live with people.
Markiz got lucky, he was rescued 😻 Now he has a second chance to find his people, who will give him a safe and loving home, who will take responsibility of caring for a pet and he won’t be abandoned again. Markiz is a very sweet and affectionate boy. He loves attention and snuggling with shelter volunteers 🥰 But he does not get along with other cats, so he should be the only cat in the household🐾
The adoption fee for Markiz is €330,-
